So anyone looking to increase the length of their nails or just wants better-looking nails should try to soak their nails in olive oil on a regular basis!

Olive Oil Makes Your Nails Stronger and Heals Them Faster

If you want your nails to grow strong, olive oil is a must-have care product. Again, olive oil is packed full of great natural ingredients that promote nail growth. So not only will your nails get longer, but they will come back far less brittle.

As we age, our nails can bend, warp, and even break. Keeping a regular routine of soaking your nails will help them stay in good shape. This is important, especially if you want your hands to age gracefully.

In addition, if your nails have been damaged or poorly cut we recommend using olive oil. This natural oil is great at healing your cuticles and nails fast. Olive oil goes deep into your skin and nail beds and has great healing properties. Ragged nails and torn cuticles can really benefit from this treatment as a result!

Olive Oil Keeps Your Nails Moisturized Properly

We don’t think about nail moisturization as much as we should. Or course it is important to keep your skin well moisturized, but the same can be said for your nails. So, to keep your nails from going brittle and dry, try and do an olive oil soak when you can. The natural ingredients and nutrients in olive oil feed your nails and keep them looking shiny and great year-round.

Nails can dry out more often than you think they do. Especially if you wash your hands a lot or put a lot of chemical-based products on them like nail polish remover. So it is not a bad idea to do a nail soak with olive oil.

Olive Oil Keeps Your Cuticles and Nails Healthy

Your nails and cuticles need upkeep as well. Olive oil is the perfect natural remedy for nail and cuticle health. With a small amount of this exfoliating oil, you can get your nails and cuticles looking cleaner and feeling softer in no time! No one wants dry and discolored looking cuticles and nails. Olive oil soaks will prevent an unhealthy looking nail bed!

Olive Oil Prevents Nail Breakage

Your nails undergo a lot of damage, especially if you regularly use nail polish or file your nails down. As a result, it is not uncommon for your nails to break or chip. If you deal with these issues often, olive oil can be a great solution for you!

With a weekly olive oil soak, your nails will be kept in top shape. They will not be brittle and weak. Instead, you will have strong nails that are resistant to breakage and stay long for a sustained amount of time.

In addition, olive oil can also protect your nails from harsh chemicals that cause damage, dryness, and chipping of the nails.

If the olive oil is too hot, let the oil cool down in the bowl for a small amount of time. Then add lavender essential oil and mix if using. Put your nails into the liquid.

Step 3. Keep Your Fingers Submerged

Keep your fingernails fully submerged during this entire process. How long you put your fingernails in the olive oil is up to you. Anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes is an ideal amount of time. This way the olive oil is fully absorbed into this area of your body!

Step 4. Rub In The Oil

Afterward, you can even use a cloth to rub in the olive oil more into your fingernails and cuticles. This will enhance the effects of the oil. Furthermore, if you want even better results from a soak, we recommend doing an overnight olive oil soak.

Overnight Olive Oil Soak

Optionally, you can dip your hands in the olive oil and soak them overnight. Start by soaking your hands in the oil for at least ten minutes. Then put cotton gloves over your hands to keep the olive oil on your nails overnight.
